“Ex Machina” is stellar with each aspect of storytelling and acting. Alicia Vikander is captivating, physically and emotionally, as Ava. She is truly a remarkable actress for this character. Domnhall Gleeson plays Caleb, a shy and intelligent coder at Bluebook the top search engine, and continues to show his ability as a stand-out actor. Oscar Isaac is wickedly disturbing as Nathan, the owner of Bluebook who invites Caleb to his home to test a revolutionary invention.
“Ex Machina” reaches into the reality of fantasy and that is what makes this film visionary. Writer/Director Alex Garland brings a creative idea to the possibility of the relationship between human and machine. Even the seclusion of Nathan’s home attributes to the possibility.
This is a must-see film.
